After a couple of weeks the tiny caterpillars I received from a trip to the red river ex finally transformed into beautiful butterflies. We released them to the wild before I left for work.

Went to the uofw's almost completed theater & film building. A large pane of glass had been vandalized it was at least 6 feet tall and as crazed throughout.

A day at the Zoo. Thought this was some kind of strange owl, but no its a Tawny Frogmouth! It tried to snap off a little boys finger as he tapped on the glass. The boy shrieked and leaped about three feet back. That beak hides a large mouth.

Doo Doo as he likes to be called introduced me to the Red River Ex this year. Normally a reporter (usually an intern) comes along to do a little piece about the rides, but this year I was on my own. So, I shot video of the other media. I couldn't go on any rides because of all the gear I was carrying. Thank god.

Robert Wilson, also known as rapper Fresh I.E., at the intersection in downtown Winnipeg where he was stopped by several police officers and accused of stealing his own vehicle Wednesday afternoon. Police at first did not believe he was the registered owner of the vehicle and according to Mr. Wilson several officers had their guns out and a passenger in his car was handcuffed.
